SILVER CREEKis part of the Woodridge development and is one mile from highway 27 which in turn is one mile from the junction of highway 27 and the 192. We are only 10 minutes from DISNEY and you are only an hour away from the GULF COAST and a little further from the ATLANTIC COAST and KENNEDY SPACE CENTRE. You may even be lucky enough to see a space launch or return.
Our home is on one of the largest plots on the development, with the rear of the house facing south and west so that the pool area gets all the afternoon sun. Because it is next to an easement the nearest house to our pool area is over 40ft away.
The view behind the house is on to the natural Florida scrubland and a large pond with an island in it. Without effort we saw many interesting birds including sandhill cranes, black vultures, hawks, egret, herons, ibis and many smaller species. We are told that there are turtles around but we have not seen them yet - we keep looking
If a lazy day beckons relax by the 33.5ft x 16ft pool - the largest that we know of, and the deck has a 16ft x 12ft roofed area, so you can be in the shade if you choose.
The villa is fully furnished with everything you could need, from cable TV and DVD to microwave, from washer/dryer to linen and towels.
There is a downstairs seated shower room making it ideal for a disabled member of the party.
There is a games room with table tennis, electronic darts and air hockey.
Description
The house has air conditioning, in nearly 2,500 square feet of floor area. Therefore all the rooms are generous in size without the need for beds to be up against walls or the need of bed sofas for sleeping 13.
Pool
The large pool overlooks the conservation area and has underwater lighting. There is a spa which can seat up to 8. The luxury patio furniture provided has ample seating for your party, with 8 chairs for around the large table and there are even loungers available for the lazy members of the group. The covered area has an overhead light with fan for cooling you while you sip your drink watching the sunset. For safety and peace of mind there is a removable pool fence and the patio door is also alarmed. There is access to a downstairs bathroom directly from the pool area. The pool is attended to regularly to maintain it in tiptop condition.
Family/kitchen area
The family room has two three seater very comfortable fabric finished sofas to withstand the rigours of energetic children. It is equipped with a 32" cable TV, DVD, audio centre and playstation 2.There is a PC provided with high speed internet access, also available is a wireless router for those who bring their own laptops
Next to the family room is a very well equipped kitchen including large oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and many other electrical items. There is a large selection of pots, pans, cutlery, china and glassware. The kitchen has its own table.
Lounge/dining area
The luxurious lounge sofas are finished in soft Italian leather for adult comfort and the lounge has its own cable TV with DVD. Adjoining the lounge area is a formal dining area with glass topped table that will easily seat 10 with 12 at a pinch.
There is comfortable seating for 14 as well as table seating for 14, albeit in two rooms.
The beds have all been equipped with extremely comfortable pillow top mattresses.
All bedrooms have been provided with cable TV, a DVD player in the two masters, hairdryers and clock/radios.
Master bedroom 1
Downstairs has a master bedrooms with king bed, en-suite facilities with bath, walk-in shower, toilet and cupboards. There is an overhead fan with light, walk-in closet, dressing table with mirror and nightstands on both sides of the bed. With the cable TV there is a DVD player.
Master bedroom 2
Upstairs is a second master bedroom with king and single beds. there are en-suite facilities with bath, walk-in shower, toilet and cupboards. There is an overhead fan with light, walk-in closet, dressing table with mirror and nightstands on both sides of the king bed. With the cable TV there is a DVD player.
From here you have a perfect view for bird watching over the conservation area with the binoculars provided.
Downstairs bedroom 3
This room is provided with a queen bed, built-in closet, dressing table with mirror and two nightstands. The en-suite facilities provide a walk-in shower suitable for a disabled person as there is a seated area.
Upstairs bedrooms 4 and 5
The remaining two upstairs bedrooms have queen and single beds and share a bathroom. Each bedroom has its own closet, dressing table and nightstands.
For those of you who wish for a large living area but only require two or three bedrooms, we would be prepared to offer a reduced charge as bedrooms can be locked off.
Games room
The games room is airconditioned with overhead lighting and fan. Games provided are table tennis , foosball, air hockey and electronic darts. Large selection of DVDs, CDs, books and board games.
There two telephones which provide free local calls. Long distance calls can be made with the purchase of a phone card.
Even the younger members of the party have not been forgotten, there are two cot, two strollers and high chair provided for their use.
All linen and towels are provided so all you need bring are a few clothes.

Ideally located for the parks during the day and shopping during the evening. Plenty of room inside for everyone to do their own thing - pool was a hit with the kids - especially the spa! I would gladly encourage others to get in touch and rent your lovely villa. Can I give some positive, but constructive criticism that your phots online do nothing for your property (internal). The bedrooms and lounge areas are much larger than it seems and this was pleasantly surprising.
